How to find out the boat history?

Do you know of a way in which I can locate historical information - designer/builder/race record, et al - for a particular wooden sailboat? I do know the boat was built in Vaxholm, Sweden around 1935, give or take a year.

This will take time and be difficult!

Dear Farley,
I'm a curious fellow and want to know more, but first some kind of an answer.
As far as I know Sweden never recorded yachts nor their owners, which makes finding out what you want to know extremely difficult, if not impossible. Only if the boat has a famous track-record you have a possibility.
I've been googling on Vaxholm, boatyard etc. but I think your only chance is by way of this site:

Do you sail this particular boat, where do you sail it and since when? Please fill me in!
