A Pontoon Boat in Action!

A Pontoon Boat in Action!

I don't live too far from the Hudson River in New York, USA. My husband likes to buy cheap boats like the Pontoon boat to travel across the river because it looks lovely. These pontoon boats are constructed using pipes or cylinders and their bottoms are flat. They are similar to a catamaran and have a basic look. Most of the time these pontoon boats are used as ferries to cross-rivers.

In my opinion, the Pontoon boat has some great advantages, such as they are well priced (inexpensive), the insurance cost is also very cheap and it has a great design with a raft that makes it into a house boat as well!

I personally like the three-tube model the most, because it has unparalleled manoeuvrability and load bearing capacity. It is an inflatable boat and that is why I like it. I still wouldn't use it in rapids rated higher than class 2. This inflatable pontoon boat which is fourteen feet overall, can carry 6 passengers, and their luggage. I have had beautiful experiences with the inflatable pontoon.

Pontoon Boats are Amazing!
by: Alex Dotsch

Hi YM! Thank you for that nice review of Pontoon Boats. I am looking forward to trying one out someday. If they are really cheap then I might be able to buy one!

The way it can turn into a house boat is awesome, I want to see one in action.

Thanks again for the great post and if anyone else has had any great sailing experiences or boating experiences, share your Sailing Stories, by clicking on the link at the bottom of the page.

Best Regards
Alex
