What is your favourite type of sailboat?

by Alex
(London, UK)

Hi all,

You have seen the boats I have sailed in Types of Sailboats, now tell us which one is your favourite and why?

Be sure to include the class of boat you sail and the story behind it. Has it won any races? is it your first boat? Does it have a name? Did you get married in it?

Best regards,
Alex

RS200!
by: Pedro

My RS 200 is my life! I couldn't imagine being without it. I sail with this other guy and we do all sorts of stuff, like planing across the beach and seeing people's astonished faces.

Why do I have a picture in my avatar of another boat you ask? Well, my camera isn't working, so I'll get back to you. Anyway, this boat looked cool, so I put it up.

Alex, I know you like your GP14 on your lake. I couldn't be on a lake to be honest, too constricting.

Thanks,
Pedro

Fun boat to sail!
by: Alex

Hey Pedro,

I haven't sailed on an RS 200, but I have heard they are good fun.

Ha! I have also had the experience in Corfu when there were Force 6 winds and I was planing around in a Laser One. I was the only boat and travelling really fast. People just started. Probably wishing that they knew how to sail
