Alex had a very sensible inspiration when he introduced a first item about the weather: when you're sailing one of your most important companions should be some knowledge of weather developments.

If there are visitors of this site with a keen interest in the weather, please let us know; I at least can give you a list of important meteo-sites all over western Europe, and can help you with their interpretation.
