GP 14 rigging

by Steve
(Crete, Greece)

Hi, I am an experienced sailor but the only small craft I have sailed are lasers and Hobie cats. I have bought a GP 14, wooden model and as it seems to be the only one on Crete cannot get any local info. Does the forestay get rigged by rope or wire? The genoas all seem to have a wire luff in them but one has hanks so I am presuming??? that it should have a wire forestay? Also when I read tunig techniques, it tells me about spreaders, mine does not have any and looking at the mast seemingly never has, comments please.
Regards Steve
