The 12th Century Cog- cargo and cabins

by Delly

Hello, Han!

I browsed the other topics, and if these were already asked, I might've missed it, I'm sorry.

I was wondering, how much cargo could a cog hold? Or what kinds of things could merchants be able to put on it? Like, as an extreme example, would an elephant be too much for a cog to handle?

And did they have like cabins? If they did, approximately how big would they be? If they didn't, as someone said on another source, did the crew all just sleep on deck? Oh, and did they use oars?
